Story Park

Welcome to Story Park

New Hanover County Library Story Park at the corner of 3rd and Chestnut in downtown Wilmington offers a range of interactive and educational features for visitors of all ages to enjoy.

Story Park features are connected through the story and recurring image of a butterfly who appears throughout the landscape providing a touch point for educating visitors about the essential role of green spaces in sustaining insect, bird and animal life.

The Story Park logo, created by Ford Design, represents the Eastern Tiger Swallowtail Butterfly, the state butterfly of North Carolina.
